喀什地区城市(镇)经济区空间组织研究

本研究基于喀什实例,结合喀什地区的社会经济基础及发展潜力,运用SPSS软件分析并在城市中心性和场强模型基础上,指出在现有人口-产业集聚区基础上构建多层次、高效运转的城镇经济区空间组织体系是增强喀什地区竞争能力的关键.     

山东省入境旅游流的时空结构研究

山东省旅游责源丰富,近年来入境旅游业发展迅速,游客数量和外汇收入均居全国前列.本文通过对山东省入境旅游流的时间和空间结构分析发现,改革开放以来山东省的入境旅游流可分为三个增长阶段,整体呈上升趋势;游客以外国游客为主,港澳台游客年度波动较大;客源国比较集中,入境旅游业发展不稳定,受我国和客源国的经济、政治等因素影响明显.

社会交往是当代博物馆公共活动的核心内容。公共交往空间的设计在新建博物馆设计中的地位越来越重要。本文对在这种趋势下的博物馆公共交往空间设计进行案例分析和研究,试图归纳出其发展规律。     

Relational spatiality and resort restructuring

This study examines the extent to which relational spatiality is captured within coastal resort restructuring visions drawing on a detailed examination of Newquay, UK. It outlines the relevance of relational spatiality for spatial planning generally and coastal resort restructuring specifically. Then, utilising Healey’s (2004) conceptualisations of space and place, and employing content analysis of selected tourism strategising documents, it explores the treatment of space and place in Newquay’s visions for restructuring. It reveals the co-existence of Essentialist and Relational approaches to spatial planning, with greater emphasis placed on the former, whilst the latter is used primarily as a tool through which to extend the resort’s reach. Some implications for coastal resort restructuring in Newquay and elsewhere are highlighted.

Making a Usage Decision About a Building in a Historic Community

Abstract

Edenton, North Carolina is one of the oldest communities in the Southeastern United States. A decision needed to be made about usage for a publicly-owned, non-historic building on some prime real estate that was located on the edge of the Albemarle Sound and in the city's historic district. An advisory panel of experts was assembled. The panel was given background on the city and the building in question and then taken on an extensive tour of the area, including the building. The panel was then asked a series of questions in a public forum. Their answers were compiled and a qualitative factor analysis was performed on their question-replies. A number of directions were suggested including turning the building into a meeting center, a museum, and a support building for an existing public dock for tourist boats. The results of this process are presented in this paper.     

The Primacy of Space in Politics: Bargaining Rights,Freedom and Power in an İstanbul Neighborhood

This article explores and theorizes the ways in which urban space and political contestations are mapped onto each other. The ethnography illustrates the multifaceted transformations in a notoriously secularist neighborhood of ?stanbul, Te?vikiye, as it first turns into a high‐consumption locality in the post‐1980s, then into a high‐conflict urban space in the new millennium on the arrival of Muslim high‐spenders, particularly headscarved women. Aiming to fill the gap left by the absence of spatial analysis from political science and political sociology, I argue that the urban neighborhood becomes central for political contestation when both government and opposition fail to protect and secure liberties and rights. Now that devout Muslims are integrated into highly contested urban sites and share bourgeois lifestyles, ordinary people act in defense of their ‘sphere’ of freedom and privacy. This new territoriality is largely symptomatic of increasing fears of losing freedom, privacy and social status. This spatial defensiveness is reinforced by people's decreasing trust in, and increasing demands from, the state for the protection and security of their rights and liberties. My overarching argument is that exclusive attention to the bipolar clash between devout Muslims and secularists under the rubric of ‘neighborhood wars’ obscures multipolar conflicts around the discontents stemming from authoritarianism and democratization.     

财政“省直管县”改革的风险分析

＂省直管县＂财政改革的基本目的是通过省直接管理县财政,加强省级财政的统筹能力,减少市级财政对县财政的截留,提高基层的公共服务能力。但是,＂省直管县＂财政改革会对统筹市县发展空间产生影响。＂省直管县＂使中心城市与县级市、县城之间的天然联系被截断,中小城市之间的产业积聚与扩散将被抑制,而直管县的发展空间会变小,发展机会也会减少。为了避免推进＂省直管县＂改革可能产生的公共风险,建议推进＂省直管县＂改革不搞一刀切,要针对不同的地区采取不同的改革方式,条件成熟的地方可以考虑县改区,同时加强省级政府对市县区域发展统筹的指导和协调。
